The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) has announced that Operation Safe Driver Week will take place from July 15-21. The Operation Safe Driver program was created to help reduce the number of accidents, injuries and deaths due to unsafe driving. Law enforcement will be on the lookout for unsafe driving behaviors such as speeding, texting, failure to use a seatbelt, following too closely, distracted driving, improper lane change and failure to obey traffic devices.
